Pointers on Packing:

Let's start with the correct moving boxes.  

1.5 >are book boxes.  Anything that goes into these boxes are heavy items only.  Such as, video tapes, canned goods, books, file, etc.

3.0 >are for semi-heavy items.  Like pots n pans, tupperware, nic-nac's, etc. 

4.5 > are for light items. The bigger the box the lighter the items.  This box is for comforter, blankets, stuffed animals, toys, etc.  

5.0 > Dish-packs w/cells in them.  Make sure you know how to pack these.  Incorrect packing can lead to damage on your part. 

Make sure you add a little paper at the bottom of the box to insure a cushion for your items.

  • Wardrobe Use:

    Wardrobe's are used for the  hanging clothes in the closet and shoes at the bottom of the wardrobe.   Can be used for the night-after comforter and other blankets.

    Dresser/Chest

    For the item's  (clothes) in the dressers or chests can be left in there.  Please no glass, fragile items, coins, jewelry, or anything that can fall out during transit.  The dressers are usually tilted and put on the dolly and items can fall out  though we do blanket wrap and rubber band for protection.   

  • Plastic wrap furniture :
    Affordable Movers plastic wrap sofa's & love seats at no cost to you.  We however offer additional plastic wrap for your mattress and any other pieces of furniture that needs to be wrapped at an additional fee.
    We also carry paper-pads for those going into storage at an additional charge.
